Planned Road Map So Far...

Demo Release - Q3 2026 The first playable demo of Ascent will focus on a streamlined single-player survival experience set in a section of the Subway map. This version will feature the core wave-based zombie loop, responsive FPS combat, weapon purchasing, basic progression, and zombie drops such as Max Ammo.

Early Access Launch - 2027  The first Early Access release will expand into the full Subway map, adding 4-player co-op, base MoodMods, power-enabled dynamic map events, and a weapon vendor offering randomized weapons and full ammo refills. This Early Access will be a paid offering. The demo will not be removed or unable to be played for any reason. The demo may receive updates to reflect changes to the main game, but it will not receive multiplayer functionality.

Future Updates After Early Access launch, Ascent will continue expanding with story-driven map puzzles, new maps, additional weapons, more MoodMods, and interesting new   enemy variants.
